Our Journey
Established in 1989 by the Government of Uttar Pradesh, Government Polytechnic Pilibhit began its journey with a single engineering stream in Electronics Engineering, operating from temporary accommodation. The institute moved to its purpose-built campus during the 1998-99 session, marking a significant milestone in our growth. Recognizing the increasing demand for skilled technical professionals, we expanded our offerings in 2008-09 by introducing two additional streams: Electrical Engineering and Instrumentation & Control Engineering.
Today, we stand as one of the most prestigious technical institutions in the Pilibhit district and the broader Rohilkhand region, affiliated with the Board of Technical Education, Uttar Pradesh, and approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi.

Financial Support & Scholarships
Understanding that quality education should be accessible to all, we offer various scholarship schemes for eligible students, including fee reimbursement for students from families with annual income below Rs. 2 lakh, merit-based scholarships, UP Government scholarships, and special awards for girl students under the “Saksham Baalika, Sampann Pariwar” scheme.
