Eligibility Criteria of the Supreme Court of India Recruitment 2026

Eligibility Criteria for Supreme Court of India (As on 07.02.2026)

  • Applicant must be a Law Graduate having passed (as on the date of appearing at interview) a three years/five years law degree from any Law College or recognized University, but before taking up the assignment as Law Clerk cum Research Assistant.
  • Candidate who is pursuing five years integrated law course or three year’s law course after successfully completing graduation in any subject from a College/University whose degree is recognized by the Bar Council of India, shall be eligible to apply for Law Clerk-cum-Research Associate provided that before joining as Law Clerk-cum-Research Associate, he/she must obtain such degree.
  • Applicant should be literate in both writing and computer matters so far the knowledge of writing skills, research & analysis skill on computer system.Able to maintain database in computers and operate various search engines/systems/procedures (e-SCR, Manupatra.

Eligible and interested candidates need to visit the website of The Supreme Court of India (https://www.sci.gov.in/) and fill the online form. Online registration shall commence on 20.01.2026 and will close on 07.02.2026.

Step 1: Go to the Official Website

  • Open your browser and visit the Official Website of the Supreme Court of India i.e. https://www.sci.gov.in/
  • Go to the home page and click on “Recruitment” or “Careers”.

Step 2: User Registration

  • Go to the Notification link “Recruitment of Law Clerk – Research Associate 2026”.
  • Choose ‘New Registration’ if you are a fresh user.
  • Fill in the Name, Email ID and Mobile Number to create your User ID and Password.

Step 3: Sign in and Complete the Form.

  • Sign In using to login the information which was sent by us at your registered email or mobile number.
